4x4 Posi-Lok is the patented cable activated system designed to
replace the failure prone OEM vacuum and electric front axle engagement
systems. No more pushing a button and hoping your 4-wheel drive
engages. 4x4 Posi-Lok replaces the OEM actuator with a cable operated
actuator that puts the driver in control of the engagement from
inside the cab. After engaging the transfer case, a one inch pull
of the 4x4 Posi-Lok cable slides the shift fork and collar to connect
the right front axle to the intermediate shaft and 4-wheel drive
is engaged.
