High Strength Alloy Front Axles

Rigs that play hard such as Jeeps, Broncos, Scouts and Blazers can now get the Warn high strength 4340 chrome/nickel alloy axles up front. Warn axles are machined to accept a full-circle retaining ring which reduces the possibility of a U-joint cap slipping out, a leading cause of u-joint failure. They also allow the owners of early Dana 30 front axles with 260x U-joints to upgrade to the more robust 297x U-joint. Warn axle shafts have proven more robust than stock axles and will normally survive a u-joint failure. Warn high-strength axles are warrantied for the life of the original owner against all manufacturer's defects. However, because of individual driving styles, Warn will not warranty damaged axles yokes that were the result of a U-joint failure.
